Tucked among the treetops in a quiet neighborhood of Manzanita, this lodge-like home offers comfort and relaxation less than a quarter-mile stroll from the beach. Enjoy three separate decks where you can sip your morning coffee, barbecue each afternoon, and linger in the evenings to admire the golden hour light.
This two-story home sits on the north side of town, about a thousand feet from an access point to Manzanita Beach. Laneda Avenue and its great restaurants and shops is only half a mile south. This is a wonderful setting for exploring the Northern Oregon Coast, with the Manzanita Links (one mile), the Neahkahnie Mountain South Trailhead (two miles), Nehalem Bay State Park (three miles), Short Sand Beach (four miles), and Cape Falcon (four miles) close by.
A favorite feature of the house is the open living space upstairs, where large picture windows maximize the view of the evergreens. You can slide open the deck doors to light the gas grill or simply let in the ocean breeze, savoring the cool as you cook in the well-equipped kitchen, gather around the dining room table for dinner, or curl up with a good book on one of the sofas.
Another lounge space awaits downstairs, where you can play board games and watch movies on cable, DVD, or streaming. There are three bedrooms - one with direct deck access - on this level, in addition to the primary suite (with its own TV) upstairs. High-speed WiFi and a private washer/dryer are provided as well.
