Recent Galveston vacation rental reviews

The location of this apartment was the best as it was between the beaches, Pleasure Pier, and restaurants and the downtown historical district. We had a prime location to watch two of Galveston's big Mardi Gras parades from the covered rooftop deck. As we are older, the steps to get up apartment above the garage was tiring when we were carrying loads. There were a couple of maintenance issues early, but Jake, the Vacasa manager, got them handled immediately and was so easy to work with. The only thing that would have made it better was good living room furniture and a painted interior. Painting was needed quite badly and is such an easy fix. The main bedroom only had a double bed, not a queen as advertized so we switched to the second bedroom and that worked well for us. Galveston was a really nice destination to visit!

This was perfect for our family, I had 2 teenage girls, who used the room with queen bed and they liked having their own full bathroom. We had my 11 year old son who had his own bunk, and my husband and I had our own space. I loved going down the road to seawall coffee shop every morning and then sitting on the balcony watching the waves over the beach. The condo was super clean, plenty of supplies (except trash bags). The pool areas and hot tubs were fantastic. The beach area was so secluded which was awesome. We were in the area for our spring break, and the beaches were very full of seaweed and debris and man of war jellyfish. It was extremely windy the whole week so brought in lots of stuff on shore, I don't know if that's normal for spring, but it was never cleaned up through the week. That was a bummer, but nothing reflecting the cond itself. If you are looking to walk to activities, there is really nothing to walk to from seascape, there is on plaza that about a 5 minute walk but no sidewalks. But please do visit seawall coffee company, it's by far the best I had all week.
