Riverside cabin with mountain views, beach access, children's items, & firepit

The quintessential Vermont cabin is located on the famous biking, driving, scenic Route 17 only five minutes from the top of the "Appalachian Gap" pass! Summer can be spent taking peaceful walks around Long Trail North and South, Lareau Park, Green Mountain Audubon Center, and the Huntington Gorge. During the cooler months, don your skis for thrilling slope rides at Sugarbush Resort and Bolton Valley Resort. Enjoy viewing the warm hues of fall foliage here too!

The towns of Waitsfield, Bristol, and Warren are all a quick drive away with many inns and restaurants. You'll be less than a 10-minute drive to Mad River Glen, 15 minutes to Sugarbush/Mt Ellen, and 15 minutes to the beautiful hamlet of Bristol featured in NYT 36 Hours Vermont guide 2023!

The home is surrounded on three sides by 1500 acres of maple syrup farm, called a "sugarbush" -- one of the largest maple syrup producers in America. Light-filled, completely renovated, and wood-lined, this classic cabin offers two lofts with two private bedrooms. Enjoy a relaxed living area, a well-equipped kitchen, and other comforts and conveniences including central air-conditioning, board games, a Pack-N-Play, and a high chair. Nights can be spent gathered together around the firepit.

When you don't want to go far from your stay, the cabin's direct access to the rushing, babbling Huntington River and two swimming holes makes invigorating dips possible. Out of the water, enjoy exploring the property's several mowed fields, trails, pollinator gardens, and forest roads. Year-round, there is much to enjoy here including abundant hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, ski touring, and XC skiing in all directions immediately accessible from the house.
