Gaze out across the mountains to the slopes of Sunday River Resort from this beautifully situated lodge in the Newry woodlands. Winter, spring, summer, or fall, it's a spectacular setting, offering a grand deck, hot tub, and a fun-filled game room providing hours of nightly entertainment.
This three-story lodge sits half a mile up the road from the Sunday River Bridge. Just over two miles south is the resort's main base area; head three miles west to find the Sunday River Golf Club. As for the surrounding area, it's a haven for outdoor adventure, including kayaking, rafting, mountain biking, snowmobiling, swimming at Frenchman's Hole (four miles), and exploring Grafton Notch State Park (16 miles).
One of the star features of the house is the great room - an open space with towering ceilings, wall-to-wall doors that open to the deck, and an entire wall of glass framing the mountain landscape. It's where everyone will want to be, whether you're cooking in the well-equipped kitchen, gathering at the dining table for dinner and board games, or curling up by the gas fireplace to watch movies on streaming services, cable, DVD, or VHS.
Spend summer evenings barbecuing, roasting marshmallows by the firepit, and watching the alpenglow illuminate the slopes. Head downstairs to the game room for movies, Ping-Pong, and foosball, or escape to the desk workspace in the loft to log onto the complimentary WiFi. At night, the primary suite is on the top floor, two bedrooms are on the main floor, and one bedroom is downstairs. A washer/dryer and both mini-split and window AC are also provided.
