You'll catch glimpses of Honu (turtles) that frequent the neighboring rocks, and you'll find a wonderful, undeveloped beach that begins at Haycraft Park (a quarter-mile east) and stretches all the way to Kihei. There are fantastic snorkeling opportunities all along Sugar Beach (voted best walking beach by the Maui Visitor Channel), and the Maui Nui Golf Club is only eight miles southeast.
