Private cabin close to lagoons, beaches & Redwood National Park

With Redwood National Park hiking trails close by and beautiful lagoons and beaches right across the road, the adventures are endless from this wonderful logger cabin! Warm up alongside the wood stoves in your cozy living room or formal bedroom, prepare quick snacks or full meals in your unique, full kitchen, eat or play board games at your dining table, or step outside to your front porch or grassy backyard. Fire up the grill for a few summertime treats or just sit by the creek and watch for visiting elk.

Enjoy a coveted location halfway between Orick and Trinidad. Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate the close proximity to the charming small town of Orick in the beautiful Redwood Forest with quick access to hiking, fishing, and water sports. The hiking all around you is truly world-class - whether through the Redwood National Park, around the lagoons, the trail from Dry Lagoon to Stone Lagoon along the beaches then through the woods (about five miles round trip), Lady Bird Johnson Grove, Tall Trees, and much more. You can do some of these hikes by just walking out your door - especially the Dry Lagoon to Stone Lagoon one. And for water lovers, the lagoons offer great fishing, kayaking, canoeing, boating, and sailing. Some visitors enjoy putting in a kayak or canoe at Stone Lagoon and paddling across to the campsite, then hiking to the beach from there.
