Enjoy the rustic beauty and front-row access to the waterfront with these two picturesque cabins which are situated on the shoreline of the 523-acre, fully recreational Oxbow Lake. These cabins can be rented together here or separately as the Evergreen Cabin or Birch Cabin. Watching the fireflies on a warm summer evening from a common fire-pit area is a great way to end a perfect day. A generous dock with piers (boat launch is located directly across the lake from the property) is there for your use (boat rental is available in the area). A sandy bottom shoreline is perfect for wading or swimming. 3 kayaks, a canoe and a paddle boat are available to guests free of charge. If fishing is your sport, Oxbow features Musky, Walleye and Pike, as well as Bass and Panfish.
Year round, Presque Isle is a premier destination for the enjoyment of the great outdoors. It is called “Wisconsin’s Last Wilderness” for a reason. Relaxation and recreation await. Fishing, boating, canoeing, hiking, and biking are great summer activities, while snowmobiling, ice fishing and skiing are great ways to spend time here during the winter months. There are ski areas within 35 miles in Michigan. Minocqua, Boulder Junction and Manitowish Waters offer shops, restaurants and activities. The owners have supplied a folder with local activities, restaurants, stores and attractions. We hope you choose one or both of our cabins to enjoy your Presque Isle stay.
