This vacation rental is located on the property of Smugglers’ Notch Resort, so you'll enjoy access to some of the finest skiing and snowboarding in the eastern United States. Beginners will love taking it easy on Curley's Cutback and Midway, while advanced skiers can shred Birch Run and Ruthie's. There are ski runs for everyone here, with access to beginner (green), intermediate (blue), and advanced (black diamond) terrain available. Ski school and private lessons are also available for kids (and adults too)! After a day on the slopes, enjoy an après-ski meal at one of the resort’s on-site restaurants, such as Hearth & Candle.
During other seasons, you’ll be just minutes from one of the region’s top disc golf courses, hiking trails, one of the nation’s best ziplines, and a variety of other outdoor activities. Numerous mountain biking trails are located a short ride away as well. In winter and summer, let the free, on-demand shuttle take you anywhere on the resort property, including to the slopes, multiple restaurants, a pizzeria, a convenience store, and even a local Ben & Jerry’s, all located within a short drive in the Smugglers’ Notch village. Those visiting outside of the winter months will be a 28-mile drive through “The Notch” from the quaint town of Stowe, where you can explore the grounds of the famous Von Trapp Family Lodge, tee it up at Stowe Country Club, and take in the views at Stowe Mountain Resort. (Stowe Mountain Resort is only 4.5 miles away in the summer and fall, but once snow hits, Route 108 is closed until the snow melts in spring.
