In a few minutes you can stroll down to the heart of Government Camp’s main drag, and without driving you can be cross-country skiing or hiking, depending on the season, on the Glade Trail, Crosstown Trail, or around Trillium Lake. Try one of the many great local restaurants or stock up on groceries at the nearby markets and cook your best dishes at home. A short drive will take you to Ski Bowl, Timberline Lodge, Mt. Hood Meadows, Teacup Nordic Center, or Cooper Spur Resort. Even the town of Hood River is easily accessible, almost 42 miles away.
