Beach access and kayaking just a 10-minute drive down the hill. The areas best ski resorts, Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows and Northstar, are just a short drive (15-20 minutes) away. Mountain bikers can ride from the house 6 miles up the forest trail and descend down into Northstar Ski Resort. Shopping and restaurants are conveniently located in the towns of Tahoe City and Kings Beach, less than 10 minutes from the house.
