Situated on six acres with 1,600’ of private shoreline, this quintessential Maine summer cottage also boasts a private dock – you don’t have to go anywhere to enjoy a Maine vacation!
Trees line the private drive leading up to the house, ensuring privacy on this six-acre peninsula with 1,600 feet of ocean front. There is ample room for parking in the circular drive, with a stone-based fire pit to the east for roasting s'mores.
Access the ocean from your own private float, complete with a swim ladder. Get ready for kayaking, canoeing, birding, and fishing along a beautiful coastline that winds in every direction. A private enclosed shower awaits outside, or soak in the ocean-view tub inside.
LIVING AREA
Enter the foyer under the covered porch and you’ll find a walnut-accented den, outfitted with a flat-screen TV. Kick back on the sofa (which converts into a full-size sleeper). French doors provide added privacy.
The classic knotty pine living room boasts beautiful views down the New Meadows River and across to Merritt Island. A wood-burning fireplace provides added ambience. There’s room for everyone to gather here or spill out onto the wraparound deck.
KITCHEN & DINING
The dining area is focused around an old English oak table that seats 8. Outside is a screened dining space where you can enjoy home-cooked meals.
The chef in your group will love the modern kitchen. You’ll find plenty of counter and cabinet space, an electric stove/oven, two refrigerators, a toaster, a toaster oven, a blender, a coffee maker, an electric kettle, and a microwave. If you're in the mood for barbeque, head outside and fire up the grill.
