We really enjoyed our stay at Cardinal Cabin and will definitely be going back! This was the perfect place for us to disconnect for a long weekend as a couple. We spent every minute we could on the porch, swinging or sitting and enjoying breakfast or a drink on the porch with an great view of the mountains. It is so quiet and peaceful there, it was like stepping back in time and out of our busy daily lives. We were able to use our cell phones with no issues to call people, text pictures, and to facetime family each night from the porch with Verizon. We hiked the Little Tennessee River Greenway, a beautiful paved trail by the river, really liked the local breweries and restaurants and the general store in town. The new master suite is amazing with a huge shower, warmly appointed mountain themed decor in the bedroom with a corner fireplace for ambiance but the best feature indoors is definitely the huge chair in master looking out over the mountains for morning coffee, and afternoon drink, reading, and napping! The cabin was very clean, starter supplies of all necessities are included in the rental and Ingles in town is a very nice grocery store to pick up other things, only about 15 minutes away. We will be back!!

Go for a soothing drive through Rose Creek, known for its gorgeous mountains.

Come home to charming countryside decor, where you can kick up your feet in the living space and take in the scenery outside the window of the rolling hills. Fix up a tasty treat in the home's kitchen or sit out on the porch and sip on your favorite beverage in hand as the clear air fills your lungs. What was once a sunroom has been rebuilt into a fully-closed primary bedroom with an en suite bathroom. Take advantage of its spacious interior by having everyone hang out there while reflecting on the day's adventures. Lounge comfortably on the furniture or lie down on the bed while indulging in the lush nature around you.
