Recent Adirondacks vacation rental reviews

This home overlooks the water and makes the very most of the amazing view. The dining room, primary bedroom and sunroom and the finished lower level all have fantastic views of the lake. The flow of the house is great - the kitchen island is great to gather around for appetizers and cocktails plus there is another wet bar area with wine frig. There is a half bath off the kitchen and a laundry room which was very handy. We were visiting our college student at UVM -- roughly 30 minutes away. Honestly a perfect distance from the busy campus. She drove out easy and could enjoy a sleepover with us or easily commute back. Our 16 year old loved the finished lower level-- its beautiful. If its important to you -- there are not televisions in all three bedrooms. It was fine with us but I know its important to some. Very commutable to ski hills and small town tourist attractions. Loved it.

Beautiful mountain house. A five minute drive to the mountain with views of the slopes from almost every room. We loved spending time by the fire and cooking in the spacious kitchen on the Wolf range. The home is spacious and full of beautiful architectural details, radiant floors, gorgeous stone tile in the kitchen and baths. We will definitely be back next time we ski Gore.

House location on waterfront at Loon Lake was great, even in winter. Close to Gore Mt. so easy access for skiing, and less than an hour from Adirondack High Peaks / Lake Placid. Was very comfortable. We had a great stay.
