A beautiful peaceful setting. Though we did not spend a lot of time at the cabin, the wrap around deck was very nice and inviting. We are already planning our next trip!

My sister and I spent the weekend at this absolutely lovely cabin, and it was everything we hoped for—and more. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm, welcoming vibe. The living room, with its tall windows and beautiful stone fireplace, quickly became our favorite hangout spot—especially in the early mornings when the sunlight poured in and made everything feel so peaceful.
The open layout of the kitchen and dining area was perfect. We cooked a couple of meals together—one of us would sit at the eat-in bar while the other cooked, and it felt so cozy and natural. And that deck—WOW! We spent hours out there just soaking in the crisp mountain air and the serene lake and forest views. One night, we grilled dinner on the deck and ate under the stars. It was perfect.
The house feels like a true retreat, but it's also super close to everything. We took several day trips—Clarkdale, Cottonwood, Sedona, and Flagstaff were all within an hour of the cabin. We loved the train ride on the Verde Canyon Railroad in Clarkdale and explored the charming shops and eateries in Cottonwood. Our sunset dinner at Merkin Vineyards was the icing on the cake!
Sedona was magical—with breathtaking red rock views and that unmistakable spiritual energy. We hiked and watched the sunset at the Airport Vortex—it was everything we had imagined. And of course, Flagstaff (only about 20 minutes away) was also a highlight. We explored the adorable downtown, shopped local, enjoyed some great food, and visited Lowell Observatory—highly recommend!
Another bonus: it’s close to family-friendly attractions like Bearizona and the Canyon Coaster Adventure Park.
We also stopped by Barracho Saloon, a fun local hangout with live music on the patio and friendly folks eager to chat. Across the freeway, we found Kota's Coffee House—a great little breakfast spot with indoor and outdoor seating. We couldn’t resist grabbing a couple of breakfast sandwiches and sharing a delicious pastry for a little breakfast dessert.
All in all, this home struck the perfect balance of comfort, style, and access to both nature and local adventures. We left feeling recharged and are already talking about coming back for a longer stay next time. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic getaway with all the cozy touches!

Cute cabin. Great instructions left for us. There were lots of games left for us to play. They thought of everything.
