Recent Peoria vacation rental reviews

Was a nice spacious home that accommodated our family. Had a lot of food places and activities near the home. Nice neighborhood
Hayden N. | Mar 2025
We had a foursome for a golfing trip and each of us had our own bedroom. Two had ensuite baths and two shared a bath. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with spices, paper goods, storage containers, and every dish you may want. Alarm system was also a plus. The carpet was stained on the stairs and landing but everything was very clean. Furniture very comfortable. It was perfect for our trip.

The house was perfect for our family's stay. It fit all 10 of us comfortably. It was stocked with the basics upon arrival, and communication was clear from the beginning. Beyond the stay, I was incredibly impressed with how they went above and beyond to help us after we left. My son had accidentally left his homework at the house. Fortunately, my little brother lives in the neighborhood. The contact at vacasa went out of his way to deliver it to my brother's house. It was a huge help and incredibly appreciated! Will definitely consider this property again for our next visit!

Where is Peoria, AZ?

Peoria is a city and a major suburb of the Phoenix Metropolitan Area. Its boundaries extend north to encompass much of Lake Pleasant, and south where it shares a border with Glendale. If you're flying in for a visit, the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) is just 18 miles southeast of the heart of downtown Peoria.

Things to See and Do in Peoria, AZ

At the northern end of Peoria, you'll find Lake Pleasant Regional Park, home of the 10,000-acre reservoir originally created by the Carl Pleasant Dam back in the late 1920s. Visitors can spend their days paddleboarding or water skiing, and this lake also hosts exciting speedboat and hydroplane racing events as part of the Arizona H2OMG Festival at the end of February.

For additional sporting events, the Peoria Sports Complex hosts spring training for the Seattle Mariners and the San Diego Padres, and you can also find the Arizona Cardinals stadium close by over in Glendale, just a short drive west. The Coyotes, a professional hockey team, also play nearby.

Golfers will want to challenge some of the courses throughout the area like the Trilogy Golf Club at Vistancia, the Quintero Golf Club, Peoria Pines, and the Lakes Course at Westbrook Village, among many others.

Lastly, there are plenty of options for shopping, dining, and entertainment within Peoria and also in neighboring communities, including Surprise just nine miles west.

Enjoy a stay in one of our Peoria vacation rentals and discover just what makes this part of Arizona so special.
