Recent Paso Robles vacation rental reviews

This was the perfect house for 3 couples. It is really nice for each bedroom to have its own bathroom attached. The setting is fabulous! The house was very clean and well appointed except for needing kitchen linens. The layout of the house and the design of the rooms and furniture is great!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The locations was great, and we loved staying on the deck with the fire pit on. It had the essential amenities and everything was cozy. We would definitely return!

Explore Paso Robles, CA

First settled by the Salinan People, the Franciscans arrived in the 1700s, harnessing the power of the natural hot springs and planting the first vineyards in the area. More Anglo Europeans arrived in the 1800s to farm the land and tourists soon followed - and have never stopped coming. Today, Paso Robles is best known for its verdant vineyards. You can enjoy it all from one of our Paso Robles vacation rentals.

Paso Robles Wine Country

Wine reigns here, and when you stay in one of our Central Coast vacation rentals in Paso Robles, you'll be conveniently located near many excellent vineyards. With more than 200 wineries across 26,000 acres of vineyards in the domain, you'll be sure to buy a case or two for family and friends back home (and a few bottles to savor at your Paso Robles vacation rental). In general, this particular AVA is known for such California favorites as Zinfandel, Sauvignon Blanc, Syrah, and Cabernet, but each winery, of course, has its own nuances with varietals. The large region is east and west split by the Salinas River, with canyons cutting deep to the west and rolling hills to the east. West side wineries worth visiting include Peachy Canyon for their Zinfandels, Oso Libre for vinos in the style of Bordeaux, and Saxum Vineyards for award-winning blends of Syrah, Grenache, and Mourvèdre. To the east, stop at  Proulx its Cabernet Franc and Merlot, L'Aventure Winery for Cabernet Sauvignon, and Le Vigne for the added benefit of an on-site cheese shop.

You'll work up an appetite while on your winery tour. Luckily, Paso Robles restaurants are abundant! Experience a farm-to-table dinner at the New American cuisine Thomas Hill Organics, a classic French fare at Bistro Laurent, or homestyle Mexican at Restaurant 4 Hermanos.

Don't allow yourself to feel overwhelmed by the quantity of high-quality wineries in Paso Robles. To make it easier to enjoy an afternoon of tastings, treat yourself to a knowledgeable designated driver with one of the many Paso Robles wine tours in the area. Some will even transport you from such coastal destinations as Cambria and Morro Bay.
