Recent Canandaigua Lake vacation rental reviews

We came to Canandaigua to be on hand for the birth of our daughters first born. The house worked out perfectly. Very convenient location to the hospital, town (plenty of nice restaurants within an easy walk) and our daughter's house. Supermarket, shopping near by. The house was quite comfortable, nicely decorated, recently renovated. The kitchen is well equipped - all new from utensils to cookware and plates (although, FYI, no condiments such as salt, pepper, sweeteners/sugar, etc.) The photos on the website are accurate. The neighborhood isn't fancy but quiet. Nice to walk down to the lake. All and all a good value for the price. Check in/out easy, good communication when we had a few questions.

Nice rental, with a lot of light during the day. It was clean, spacious and had all of the necessary things. I'm not sure I'd call it a "hideaway" being so close to the road, but it was comfortable and the family enjoyed playing in the snow out back. I bet the rear deck is great in the summer too.
