Recent Central Oregon Coast vacation rental reviews

Hi. I have stayed in a few places in Florence, and I feel like this place was the most comfortable! I like nice sofas, mattresses, warmth, cleanliness and this place had it all, along with an ocean view over the top of a few houses! The wood burning stove made my husband very happy, the comfortable beds made me very happy, and my little dogs loved the large, fenced-in yard. I have stayed in other dog friendly places before, but none were as clean and comfortable as this place. The beach access was also super close, but due to a big storm and the tail end of the King Tides, we did not walk on the beach during this trip. Next time for sure! Thanks for sharing your place with us.

We were able to stay here for two nights over Christmas. It was a cozy, clean home. Only con- We were hoping to use the backyard for our three large dogs but unfortunately the backyard is not fully enclosed and the fence is really short.

Through partnering with Beachside Vacation Rentals, we offer a selection of beach homes on the Oregon Coast that's better than ever!

The North Central Oregon Coast

With the well-earned reputation as one of the best spots on the scenic Oregon Coast for whale watching in the winter and spring months, staying in Depoe Bay offers a quiet, oceanfront home-base on the coast. You can visit one-of-a-kind shops, experience local, chef-driven cuisine at Restaurant Beck, and just relax in the salty, fresh ocean air.

Choosing to book a home in fun-filled Newport puts you in the heart of all the action: this town is home to a number of star attractions like the world-famous Oregon Coast Aquarium, the headquarters for Rogue Ales, and the gorgeous Yaquina Head Outstanding Natural Area. Neighborhoods include a charming, historic bayfront with maritime-themed murals, the artsy Nye Beach district, and the striking architecture of the Art Deco district.

Blink and you may miss tiny Seal Rock as you travel south along picturesque Highway 101. But if you take the time to discover this small community, you will be rewarded with tide pools, spectacular seabird watching, gorgeous, rocky scenery, and a charming vacation rental for a romantic getaway or an adventure-packed family vacation.

In contrast to Newport's hustle and bustle, a stay in a cozy vacation rental in Waldport, just 15 miles south, offers peace and quiet, along with opportunities for fishing, crabbing, and clamming in both the ocean and along the Alsea River. But not just for outdoor adventurers, relatively sleepy Waldport has a great, peaceful location right between Newport and Yachats.

The South Central Oregon Coast

Home to beach-side hiking trails, an organic coffee house, popular restaurants, and a cute downtown area, making the charming town of Yachats your home base means you'll also be close to wonderful sites like Cape Perpetua, the Carl G Washburne Memorial Park, and the historic Heceta Head Lighthouse.

A getaway to Florence puts you right at the gateway to the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area. Like a lot of Oregon beach towns, there's a river flowing through the windswept terrain and into the ocean. Here, it's the wild Siuslaw River, just on the south end of city, bordering the Old Town neighborhood. Here you can spend the afternoon people watching outside Siuslaw River Coffee Roasters (and don't forget to pick up some beans to take back home - a lot of our vacation homes have their own coffee grinders!), enjoying a dinner out, or having fun browsing one of the many art galleries.

Find your ideal beach vacation getaway from our always-growing collection of wonderful Central Oregon Coast vacation rentals! Whether you seek a laid-back style or high-end luxury, a small, quiet village or tourist-packed town, you're sure to find the perfect setting for your Oregon Coast retreat.
