Recent Coastal Georgia vacation rental reviews

The cottage was behind the owner's home which added to a safe feel for any traveling alone. The decor was perfectly suited to the beach and quietly gave off a "relax and refresh" vibe. Kitchen had plenty of lovely mugs, glassware, bowls and plates. I brought my own electric kettle but there is a Kerhig (bring your own pods) and regular coffee pot and stream kettle. The bed was so cozy, quality linens and pillows. The sitting area is inviting and it was the perfect spot for reading, painting, and reflection. Minutes walk to beach access. The host is perfectly hospitable and welcoming. I give this a 5 star and will be coming again. Little cooktop and microwave.

Home is in a quiet neighborhood. Not far from Tybee Island, Wormsloe historic site, and Bonaventure cemetery. The home was comfortable and secure. The only hiccup was that the dryer was not working and needed repaired and this repair did not happen even after reaching out to the homeowner.

Cute spot in a great neighborhood. Close/Walking distance to all the great things downtown Savannah has to offer. Enjoyed my stay.

The Georgia Coast

The Georgia Coast is comprised of more than 11 unique communities. The region's lush tropical coastline and mostly mild weather offer a peaceful departure from city living. Some of the state's best golf courses, including the Crosswinds Golf Club and Jekyll Island Golf Course, will make you want to break in your new nine iron. Book your stay in one of our Coastal Georgia vacation rentals to experience a range of activities for your trip!

Savannah, Georgia

Georgia's first city, Savannah, was established in 1733. The community is best known for its stately homes, outdoor cafes, and ghost tours! One stroll down the cobblestone roads of the Savannah Historic District will inspire you with breathtaking architecture and charm of bygone days.

Tybee Island

Tybee Island is a barrier island located just 18 miles from Savannah. The community offers five miles of beaches and oak-lined walking trails. Visitors can fish off the southern end of Tybee Island pier and pavillion, visit two light stations, or dine out and hunt for souvenirs in the Fort Screven Historic District.

Midway

Liberty County is 50 miles south of Tybee Island and is comprised of two communities: Hinesville and Midway. The region's forests and saltwater marshes attract outdoor enthusiasts each year on their quests to go kayaking, camping, hunting, and bird watching along St. Catherine's Sound and Colonel's Island. Midway is also home to the colonial Midway Museum and cultural sites like the Historic Dorchester Academy and Museum where Dr. Martin Luther King planned the march on Birmingham.

St. Simons Island

Stretching another 50 miles south of Midway are The Golden Isles, which are comprised of Brunswick, Jekyll Island, Sea Island, St. Simons Island, and Little St. Simons Island. St. Simons Island is home to miles of bicycle trails, tennis courts, and some 99 golf holes! Visitors come from near and far to hike into the iconic Marshes of the Glynn and build sandcastles at East Beach. In a single afternoon you can climb to the top of the St. Simons Lighthouse, or tour antebellum plantations throughout the island.

Coastal Georgia vacation rentals offer unmatched beauty alongside an even blend of historical tourist sites and wildlife preserves. Dip your toes in the waters of the Atlantic and you'll soon forget everything you thought you know about The Peach State.
