Nice quiet area. Easy beach access. Super close to water. Could hear waves with windows closed.

This home was absolutely beautiful. There are a few aspects to this home that are important to note. The kitchen and living area along with two of the bedrooms are located upstairs. You don’t necessarily have to use the spiral staircase as there is a separate staircase leading to this upstairs that can be accessed from the patio. The spiral stairs are beautiful but a bit difficult to navigate quickly or with carrying bags. Another point to note is the parking. The parking was okay for us MOST OF THE TIME. we only had one vehicle. However even with the two spots there was almost always a visitor in the other spot. If you have multiple vehicles this will be a challenge. If you are not familiar with this area as we were not- it was quite busy during spring break. We have in the past stayed at less crowded beaches. The beach is absolutely beautiful but across the street from the property was very packed and busy. We drove down the road to varn park and we had much more room to roam and spread out with our kiddos. We loved Sally’s ice cream being within walking distance and did that often. Definitely walk over to the shop if you have the time. The house is very well stocked with towels and beach items as well in the bin outside should you need extra. We enjoyed the upstairs patio as well especially in the evenings. The only other thing we experienced that was unpleasant was an extremely strong fish smell upon arriving which lasted about a day. The trash can wreaked of dead fish smell as well so I assumed this was due to a prior stay however it was not great. I can see how to a point they could not control that though. Other then this I would highly recommend. The downstairs bunk bed room was amazing and my kids loved it. Definitely a unique oceanfront rental

We typically rent houses for our vacations and have certain things set houses apart from each other. This one met all of our needs and more! There is a seating/living room area on each level inside as well as outside. We had 8 on our trip and between the inside and outside seating, it never felt crowded. The front yard is fenced in, which is a nice touch because it feels even more private. There are beach toys, coolers, boogie boards as well as beach chairs for your use. There were plenty of towels, extra blankets and beach towels as well, which we don't always see with our rentals. I wasn't a fan of the spiral staircase and preferred to use the deck stairs outside. The beach is just a quick walk across the road. Within a few blocks, there are bars, pizza places, 2 ice cream shops, 711 and Dollar General...all very walkable. A few reviews mentioned parking issues. We didn't have any issues, but came expecting to. We were always able to park in our spots overnight. There were just a few times where we needed to park in front of the next house. It really wasn't a big deal.
