Waking up to the morning bird sound and the rustling forest is simply something you have to be there to fully experience. My wife loved it, my friends loved the interior decor and couldn’t believe the value for the buck. I loved the convenience of being 5 minutes from the national park entrance, the tranquil quality of the backyard. I had a fine relaxed stay, something I haven’t enjoyed for quite a while. Thanks!

The house is a complete gem. Perhaps the best vacation rental home I've ever stayed in anywhere! Beautiful, spacious, well-designed architecture and layout. Lovely furnishings and decor (some Asian inspired). The lanai and yard are beautiful and so peaceful. We felt like we were in the womb of the forest! No bugs whatsever, but nice to hear birds, and nightly sounds of frogs. The owners have been very thoughtful in many details like lighting, kitchen supplies, linen cupbards well stocked, etc. Everything so clean, organized, tasteful, and comfortable. We loved the feeling of utter peace and isolation, and loved being an 8 min drive into Volcanoes National Park. And a few minutes' to the several restaurants and basic shops in the 'village'. The key pad code to enter the house was not working upon arrival, but the Vacasa people answered the help line quickly and talked me through how to get into the lockbox for a key. They followed up the next day with a local manager. Very responsible. The home is so beautifully designed and well-equipped, we could have lounged there for a few days more! Thank you!
