Guests can easily walk to a number of local restaurants, including Pangea Tavern right next door, and Nino’s Pizza and Pasta right across the street. The Avon Pier is also located right next door; spend your day fishing off the pier and walk home to grill up the day’s catch. More Avon dining and shopping opportunities in Avon are a short 2-5 minute drive. A large chain grocery store is ½ mile south of Islander Condos. The Cape Hatteras Lighthouse is located 6 miles away in Buxton, along with additional dining, shopping, and entertainment. Of course, the beach is waiting right out front.
