Cute and cozy. We would definitely stay again.

I would highly recommend this unit for warm weather, but there were issues for our 2 night stay in December. The unit is on the second floor with a flight and a half of outside stairs to access. It was dark upon arrival and the motion lights did not function. There were no outside lights on building to assist in finding the building and I needed to use my phone light to access the key box. There is an outside door light which is turned on from inside. We left this on and that lighted the upper 1/2 flight of stairs, but full flight remained darkened. No issue with key box, but key was very difficult to insert fully in lock. After entry, I lubricated lock with olive oil and that resolved problem. Our stay allowed us to visit Botanical Gardens Light Show; an 8 minute drive from unit. It snowed during our visit to gardens and we returned to treacherously icy stairs. We did not find sand and with great caution carried our suitcases down the next morning. We enjoyed our stay and found the unit’s location and amenities outstanding. However, on a cold December 5th, the temperature of the bathroom and bathroom floor prevented us from using the shower. Again, I would highly recommend unit in warmer weather.

This house was such a win! I was drawn to it by the large, secure yard for my dog but ended up very happy with every aspect and was truly sad to move on when I had to. It is exactly as pictured, for one thing, but the pictures don't capture how extremely well provisioned this house is. The owners were very thoughtful about what you might need. The mattresses were divine. The neighborhood is sweet and people are friendly. I was there during Halloween and people really seem to get into it, which was fun. The house is the only house at the end of the street on a cul-de-sac that is otherwise just woods. Super private and relaxing. I got lucky with temperatures and was able to enjoy the large deck quite a bit more than expected for the time of year. The view of the creek only got better as vegetation thinned for winter and I saw a good bit of wildlife. A couple of maintenance things came up over my long stay, so I got to interact a few times with the team for that. Each of those were great interactions. If I'm coming back to the area, this is the first place I would check to stay.
