Just off of rt. 1 but private. Dramatic views. Comfortable and well appointed. Will visit again.

House is a historic cabin that has been tastefully renovated; gorgeous art, furniture, kitchen, and fllor-to-celing windows throughout the house. It sits on a secluded hill overlooking the water surrounded by lush trees and plants. It was charming, secluded and relaxing. I cant wait to stay there again.

This restored cottage is beautiful and very clean. The kitchen is well stocked with the utensils you need for home cooked/grilled meals (cause you will likely want to stick around). The views from the large windows are like nothing else. Imagine waking up to a view of a lighthouse on an island. The grounds around the cottage are beautiful and ready to be explored! We spent 4 nights with a 7 and 1 year old. We had such a wonderful time as a family in this gorgeous home and we enjoyed all of the love and details put into it. We hope to be back!

Perhaps the best point of view for admiring Rockport is by boat. Hop on a sailboat cruise around the bay for a taste of the bayside life. If you’d rather set your own pace on the water, rent a kayak, canoe, or stand-up paddle board and peruse the bay at your leisure. Land-lovers can set out on the family-friendly Beech Hill Preserve hike through blueberry fields - keep an eye out for the stone house at the top. Take a tour of Aldermere Farm for an introduction to its beloved Belted Galloway cows, nicknamed Oreo Cookie cows for their coloring.
