First, when you get to the property, they don't tell you that the entrance to the building is in the *back*, down a driveway. I had to call the property management agency, which involved doing a couple of loops around the block while on hold. Once there, the place was just as nice as the photos make it seem. You get two parking places; it's tight with a minivan. It seems a pleasant neighborhood of condos, with many walkers, and it's quiet despite the proximity to Vanderbilt (20-25 minute walk). The building was also quiet, but sound carries inside the unit. We did not cook at all so I can't speak to the setup. If you're picky or drink a lot of coffee bring your own keurig pods; they mostly stock tea pods. There are nice touches like the prepared bottle of water in the refrigerator. There were a few minor issues, like the slat missing at the foot of my bed, the thermostat not going above 72 (I'm never cold but my parents would have been miserable), and the dimmer switches for the ceiling fans not working right (the fans are either off or on high, and the master bedroom fan sounds like it has a failing motor). A seven-digit code to open the door is absurd. Bring your VPN; internet is adequate but uses outdated security. Communication was great via text and phone. Go in expecting a nice place and hotel-style service rather than interacting with an owner and you will be pleased.
