This condo is very nicely furnished and has a nice view. It is one of the nicest places we have stayed in Hawaii. Quiet and close to the beach and restaurants. For some reason, it is rated as a tier 2 home. It required double the points to rent from Vacasa.

This condo is similar to many in Kehei. It was clean and well equipped. The king bed was very comfortable and it was very quiet. The pool was just a few steps away. It was a short walk or drive down to beach or the Kehei harbor. The outside area was well maintained with lots of flowers. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Our only complaint was that the bedroom air conditioner was very noisy.

We give the condo itself, including location, landscaping, pool, view a five star rating as these items met our expectations at this price point. The level of cleanliness was ok for a 4-5 hours turnaround time for the cleaners, but a once or twice yearly deep clean was not apparent. We put responsibility for this on Vacasa, and this negative aspect is not reflected in our 5 star rating, but be aware. Moreover, note that Vacasa is the manager and communications with Vacasa are problematic. That being said, the local employees of Maui Kamaole and are very responsive and helpful even in instances where Vacasa was supposed to be the responsive and helpful party. The local Vacasa people were similarly very good once we fought our way through the communication barriers. In the future, we'll be trying to rent from units that use a different manager other than Vacasa.
