Recent Mission Bay vacation rental reviews

The location and ease of this beach house is perfect. My son is a bilateral amputee so getting up and down stairs was challenging for him but everything else was perfect

Had a great time staying in this home with my buddies. It is close to everything and would definitely do it again.

Perfect location, close to the beach, great restaurants, coffee shops, rentals, shopping, there's something for everyone. The home was charming and clean.

Our Mission Bay vacation rentals are a popular choice for visitors year-round and offer plenty of options for recreation and relaxation.

Things to do in Mission Bay

While the saltwater bay is the area's main attraction, you'll find plenty of ways—both on the water and on land—to spend your days when you stay in one of our homes in this waterfront neighborhood on the outskirts of San Diego. The hardest part of your stay is going to be trying to figure out what to do first!

Golf enthusiasts can practice their swing at the Mission Bay Golf Course. Originally built in 1955, the now 18-hole executive course is the only one in the San Diego area that offers night lighting. The area's other attractions include the Mission Bay Aquatic Center and the dog-friendly Fiesta Island. Of course, if you are looking for a big city experience, you can spend your day exploring the sights and sounds of downtown San Diego.

Mission Bay Park

With 27 miles of shoreline and sandy beaches galore, Mission Bay Park draws swimmers, kayakers and paddlers, sailors, boaters, jet skiers, fishermen, golfers, birders, picnickers, beach volleyball enthusiasts, bicyclists - you name it, you can do it all at Mission Bay.

The saltwater bay is part of Mission Bay Park, the largest aquatic park in the world, so you'll spend your days enjoying the area's natural beauty. Even SeaWorld San Diego, one of Southern California's most popular tourism destinations, is located within the park. Also in the neighborhood is the historic seaside amusement park Belmont Park. With wooden rollercoasters and a variety of thrilling rides, this popular attraction promises plenty of fun for the entire family.

Mission Bay and the surrounding area

Mission Bay is side-by-side with the funky Mission Beach neighborhood, with miles of sandy Pacific shoreline, two popular boardwalks, and excellent surfing, dining and shopping. Book one of our Mission Bay vacation rentals and you'll be within reach of all the services you might need for an easy beach vacation, yet with close proximity to downtown San Diego and other popular San Diego neighborhoods and beaches, making it a great home base from which to explore the city at large. Downtown San Diego, the nightlife of Pacific Beach, and laid-back La Jolla Village are all less than 10 miles from the Bay.

With fun and relaxation to be had from sun up to sun down, our selection of centrally-located Mission Bay cottages and condo rentals are the perfect choice for your next beach getaway!
