Would recommend staying in this property. Linens and towels were freshly cleaned. Kitchen was well equipped. Enjoy the fireplace when dinning or sitting in the living room. The entertainment theater room offers a comfortable place to watch a movie or sports.

Aside from the following notes, the cabin and onsite activities were ideal for a weekend or week long (or longer) stay. Everything was clean, fresh, and well maintained. Our main intention was to see snow and have quiet inside appreciation of a winter wonderland. The snow fall, the snow covered trees and view of the frozen pond was exactly what we hoped. A future stay, during the spring or fall is easily imagined. The inside temperature on arrival was below 55 degrees and took over 24 hours to reach a reasonable temperature. As such, the first night was not comfortable for sleeping in the bedrooms. While there were plenty of spare blankets, the air was just too cold for comfortable sleeping. The second night was better, but the heat system didn't heat for the full night. The heating unit has multiple pre-programmed heat setting - each pre-set at 55 degrees. Unknown to us, one of these settings was controlled remotely by the property owner. This status was not known until after the 3rd night when host asked owner to release the override. The final road leading to the cabin is not maintained daily during the winter. There is no lighting along the road. Arrival before dark is highly encouraged. The kitchen facilities are well provided with pots, pans, crock pot, etc. Nothing lacking in terms of utensils. We were disappointed that the only available staples were salt and pepper.

This house is absolutely amazing! It is in a great location close to everything. We have stayed in other rentals that don’t even come close to this beauty. The owners are meticulous & thought of everything to make our stay as comfortable & fun-filled as possible. The downstairs kept our grandkids entertained for hours with games like air hockey, skee-ball, basketball & PacMan while the adults relaxed in the theater next door watching movies, playing darts & socializing at the bar. Thank you for a memorable family vacation - we look forward to returning soon!

People reserve Adirondacks cabin rentals to soak up the sun on one of the region’s beautiful lakes, or to simply retreat from city life. In the winter, cuddle up by the fireplace in your vacation rental and enjoy a good book, or go on a peaceful venture via snowshoes. Don’t forget to visit the tranquil wilderness of Adirondack Park, the largest publicly protected natural area in the country.
