The age of the building cannot be ignored, but the room itself was nicely renovated to modern studio vibe.
For shorter guests, this property works well, but I had trouble hitting my arm on celling fan. I was able to touch the celling without stretching. I also hit arm and hip at bathroom sink when I position myself to toilet. I'm only 6', so anyone taller than I should be very cautious.
We had a problem with shower drainage. It wasn't completely clogged, but it didn't catch up the pace of shower output. We were party of 2 and the second person had to wait about 10 minutes for drainage. I contacted to Vacasa service and they told us to use plunger. The only plunger I found was for toilet and I just couldn't do it.
Related to the shower, the bathroom only has a passive exhaust (or we couldn't find the fan switch) so there's some musky smell for sensitive folks and you need a cooldown/refresh period after someone used the bathroom.
When we arrived, there was no key to the laundry room despite the lease agreement says "Lost key fee of $100 will be charged." Vacasa connected us to the local team and they dropped off the key at our room. The shared laundry room is located at garage, and it's barely holding up. 2 washers and 2 (working) dryers at the time of our stay. They are not very well maintained. Each need $2 in quarters and no change machines on site.
One of our balcony fence plates got rusty and need some attention.
Beach umbrella was broken, but chairs were holding up.
I'm glad that I brought USB AC adapters. I didn't need it when we stayed at a hotel, but this property definitely does need to bring own adapters.
Location is great, but that makes us feel poor. The surrounding properties all look nicer than we stayed.
All the kitchen appliances worked well.
I am not sure if we stay here again, but I appreciate it exists. We learned a lot.

Every direction had great views and the high floor makes a big difference. Comfortable furniture and a great location in the middle of Waikiki. Vacasa was easy to deal with professional.

The condo met all of our needs for a nice vacation! We would have loved to have some kind of lanai to enjoy the outdoors, but even without it, we enjoyed the space! The oven broke while we were there, and even though quick attempts were made to repair it, parts needed to be ordered off-island. We made do with the toaster oven to make pizza! The air conditioners kept the rooms cool. Keep the drapes closed though, the heat coming in is intense! The walk to the beach is actually about 10-15 minutes depending on the route you take. We walked to Turtle Bay resort and the public beach nearby. The condo was very clean when we arrived, no problems with cleanliness at all. Not any spices, but plates, glasses, mugs, utensils, pots, pans, cooking utensils were all available. There was a sheet pan in the oven that someone forgot to clean and put away. We washed it and put it away. The refrigerator was clean, ice cube trays and storage tub made making cocktails easier! We ran out of toilet paper, we were given 1 partial roll and 1 full roll for 3 people for a week. Once you run out, you purchase your own toilet paper. We found a great store a few miles away that sold individual rolls, a “Superette”, that had a great variety of items! Even sushi and poke! Overall, a positive experience!
