PGA West Resort Golf Courses
Wake up in in your PGA West vacation rental and start the day with a robust cup of coffee as you plan which course to play. Three of the top-tier courses and two of the clubhouses are open to resort guests, meaning you don't have to be a member to enjoy them!
Delve into the newest course at PGA West, the Greg Norman Course. Laden with desert wildflowers with the mountains as your backdrop, this is the perfect place to start. Featuring nine holes of stark-white bunkers and 60 acres of challenging, winding fairways, the course has been described as "challenging, but fair", allowing golfers of every skill level to try their hand at conquering the hazards.
Make a tee time at the view-filled Nicklaus Tournament Course to play a part of history. Sharing the honor with the TPC Stadium Course, these expertly crafted greens, fairways, and hazards play host to the PGA TOUR’s bi-annual final round of Q-School. Boasting a stroke rating of 75.3 and a slope rating of 143, this is a course that encompasses the majestic beauty of the sun-drenched desert and custom-created danger of water and unforgiving traps.
Pete Dye's custom terrain at the TPC Stadium Course has sculpted viewing areas for spectators right into the landscape (hence the name!). The most iconic out of the three resort courses, The TPC Stadium Course has seen countless memorable moments play out, with the chance to watch it happen again in 2016 when the Career Builder Challenge, formerly the Humana Challenge and Bob Hope Classic, returns to the spotlight.
With the honored distinction of being rated as on of the "Top 100 Courses in the World" by GOLF Magazine, as well as the fourth toughest course in America in Golf Digest’s "Top 50 Toughest Courses in America" (2007), this is a must for every golf lover.
PGA West Clubhouses
Two of the clubhouses in PGA West are also open to resort guests, and are the perfect spot for a fairway-side lunch or cocktail.
Mingling the outside beauty with the Australian-theme interior, the Greg Norman Clubhouse gives you the perfect place to unwind after a long day on the course. Relax at Wallaby's West with a glass of decadent wine and a sizzling steak. Grab a night cap and lounge by the flickering warmth of the flagstone fireplaces in the sunken patio.
Kick back with a refreshing beverage as you take in the sweeping views at the Tournament Clubhouse. Grab a bite to eat, join a banquet, or enjoy a romantic dinner for two at Ernie's. Swing by the Pro Shop to grab a few essentials, or maybe treat yourself to the latest and greatest gadget.
