Recent Pali Ke Kua, Princeville vacation rental reviews

We have stayed at many PKK properties over the years, but 224 is our favorite 2 bedroom unit for both the view and the kitchen amenities (including a new refrigerator). The lanai is great for both breakfast, watching the sunrise and surfers, and pupus and surfers at sunset. We don't need cable as the WiFi signal is strong and there is a nice, large smart TV. We highly recommend the farmers markets for fresh fruit, bread and greens. They are Saturday at 9:00 on the way to Kilauea, stop by Kalihiwai on the way back, and Tuesday at 2:00 in Waima, west of Hanalei. Pat's Tacos are great for lunch at Hanalei beach by Black Pot, and stop by the Dolphin fish market for Poke or rolls. It's a mile walk to great restaurants at 1 Hotel, or pub food and "night" football at Hanalei Bay Resort. A few things to note. The lanai could use a 4th chair and another table but can borrow a chair from the dining area. There are no beach chairs, just a few camping chairs. But they as well as snorkeling equipment can be rented easily. We like renting from the Hanalei Trading Company; very nice and easy parking. There is safe snorkeling year round at the beach below 1 Hotel; Hideways is also possible in November but watch the tide schedule and swells.

We enjoyed our stay at Pali Ke Kua..the kitchen was well stocked, there were plenty of fans, and the location was perfect for our trip. The pool and hot tub were nice, and my sister and her family stayed at another unit..they had a gorgeous sunset view.
