River Mountain Lodge Rentals | Breckenridge, CO

Pros: the value for the location cannot be beat. The lower 4 O'clock run to town ends directly across the street so this place is practically a ski-in location. The walk to the gondola is only around 6 minutes, and there are bus stops going in bith direction right in front of the unit so getting to other parts of the resort and anywhere else in town is very convenient. The kitchen was well stocked, water pressure was fine, and the towels are bedding were on par with what we expected. Unit was well stocked with soap, shampoo, conditioner, laundry detergent, coffe, tea, etc. Also, I was notified a couple hours ahead of the check-in time to let me know the place was ready so we got to check-in early! Cons: The outsides of the kitchen cabinets were dirty and need a deep cleaning. No creamer for coffee. The shower valve was not in proper working order, so getting the right temperature was a challenge, and the water temp was constantly fluctuating. The unit is close to the lobby and there is some noise inside the unit. The TV doesn't fit properly on top of the dresser that it is on, so they put a piece of cardboard on top of the dresser instead of mounting the TV on the wall. There is nowhere to put wet/snowy shoes in the entryway - a simple tray would be great. Overall, we would stay again due to the price.
