A private beach boardwalk takes you past the dunes and straight to the white-sand beach. Reservations between March and October at Sanctuary by the Sea condos include beach service, as well as the use of two bikes and a kayak during your stay.
Things to do near Sanctuary by the Sea rentals
Gulf Place Town Center, just 3.2 miles west of our Sanctuary by the Sea condos, is a great place to spend an afternoon boutique shopping, enjoying live music, sampling local cuisine, or just strolling its palm-lined streets.
Paths lead from Sanctuary by the Sea rentals to Grayton Beach State Park, just two miles away. One of the most popular parks in Florida for good reason, this 2,000-acre park offers self-guided nature trails, canoe rentals, a mile-long beach, and a four-mile off-road biking and hiking trail. The park even offers complimentary sand wheelchairs if you call ahead of your visit.
Festival lodging at Sanctuary by the Sea condos
Sanctuary by the Sea rentals are a great place for festival lodging when you’re visiting one of the popular Northwest Florida festivals and events. There’s the annual 30A Songwriters’ Festival, which includes events at various venues throughout South Walton. Sanctuary by the Sea condos are an excellent home base for the Seaside School Half-Marathon & 5K Run, as well as race weekend events like the Race Expo and Taste of the Race. Speaking of “taste,” the area hosts several major wine and food festivals each year, including the 30A Wine Festival at Alys Beach, the long-running Seeing Red Wine Festival in neighboring Seaside, Florida, and the Harvest Wine & Food Festival, which includes celebrity winemaker dinners, a grand tasting at Cerulean Park, and more.
