Recent Sandcastles Villas - Amelia Island vacation rental reviews

The unit we stayed in was really amazing. Very clean and the interior décor spot on. The local Vacasa folks were very responsive and even gave us a late checkout for no additional cost. My main issue was the corporate Vacasa customer service, which was clearly a call center. We had a death in the family and I called to see if we could cancel or get a credit for future use. They denied both, stating that it was against corporate policy and that we could either cancel without refund or give the trip away to someone. Long story short, we stayed for two nights and spent most of our one day on property driving back and forth to a memorial service. We live close and know the area very well, so we were able to make the most of the time that we had, but if you are interested in renting something through Vacasa, beware of their policies.
