Recent Jay vacation rental reviews

The concerns I did address fell on deaf ears and that was disappointing. The location was perfect. Quiet and peaceful

Grizzly Pines was an amazing stay. It was outfitted with everything we needed for the week including lots of extra bath towels and cookware. The cabin was a great base for day trips to Shelburne, Lake Champlain, Stowe and Newport. The boat trip on Lake Memphramagog was a highlight. The best part was coming back each afternoon to watch the sun set near Jay Peak.

We came to Jay Peak and stayed in the same condo. We love it. Very clean, comfortable and relaxing!

Jay is nestled in the Green Mountains, on the Canadian-U.S. border, 41 miles east of the historic small town of Swanton, and 45 miles north of Woodbury.

Things to Do in Jay, VT

Warm weather travelers can work in a few rounds at Jay Peak Resort's 18-hole golf course, and the resort's trails offer prime hiking and mountain biking for adventurous types.

Scenic drives give way to viewings of gorgeous fall foliage, covered bridges, and cow-studded fields. Birdwatching and fishing are other excellent pastimes in this quirky, international border town. You'll also find a plethora of farmers' markets in and around Jay to stop for some fresh produce on your way home from Chapelle Ste Agnes Vineyard, seventeen miles from town.

Winter travelers will revel in skiing and snowboarding at the resort, as well as the NHL-size indoor ice arena, the Pump House Indoor Water Park, and the Aerial Tramway. The resort also has a variety of restaurants and food carts, such as Miso Hungry, featured in Powder Magazine.

The Jay Challenge - a half-marathon that draws hundreds of runners who make their way over rugged, muddy trails, brook and river crossings, steep descents, and a sandpit - is a great way to spend a summer afternoon, whether you're a participant or a spectator.

Reserve one of our cozy Jay vacation homes for an unforgettable getaway in northern Vermont.
