My family loved the layout and loved the size. The only downside was the cleanliness for some drawers in the kitchen but that was resolved quickly when I reached out to Vacasa.

This property was amazing. Very clean and very well stocked with the basics. The yard is super fun and has a swing set and lots of room to run around. The game room was a family favorite and we also spent a lot of time out on the deck! The lake, a short beautiful walk down a wooded path makes this home a must visit. Totally private and serene. Would absolutely stay again.

They say pictures paint a thousand words, but in this case they don’t do Justin Lake Lodge justice. The beauty of the property is astounding. The 5 min walk on the trail down to lake is rewarded by the view of all that awaits. Our family of 17 ranged in ages from 4-72. Every one of us spent hours swimming, diving off the 40ft dock. We loved using the water floats, canoe, stand up paddle board and 4 person peddle boat to explore the serene private lake. Many used the supplied fishing rods and caught huge big mouthed bass! The loons entertained us and the giant blue heron wowed us. We couldn’t believe this was all ours! We brought our own floating foam island and anchored it in the middle of the lake. What fun. Having a boat house to store all the water toys was great. We intended to use the fire pit by the water, but never got a chance because we were having so much fun. When we arrived add walked in the beautiful lodge we were greeted with peaceful music playing and fresh flowers on the table. There were welcome notes and tips all through the house. The property managers Patty and Fred were fabulous hosts. Some of their touches were supplying numerous start up supplies such as paper towels, toiletries, detergent (laundry and dish). The kitchen was stocked with fresh staples, more than enough dishes, glasses, pots & pans and cutlery for our big family. We easily had seating at the two large dining tables and all the sofas. The kitchen has a huge Volcan stove and oven but the only part of it that was consistently working were the burners. But there is a toaster oven and air fryer the we put to good use. In the living room we watched Olympics on the large TV (Dish) Even during the wild winds from the remnant of Hurricane Debby e never lost power or WiFi. There are lots of small tables that were perfect for puzzles, paint by number, and computer work. The huge deck had lots of seating and a gas grill. It’s unbelievable that all of this was just on the first floor along with three bedrooms, two baths, and a laundry room. The only AC was in the master bedroom so it was a bit too hot for comfort although the multiple fans helped. The second floor was beyond belief with a game room that had a pool table, ping pong, TV, numerous toys for the little ones, 5 bedrooms and two more baths. The high ceilings and walls of gorgeous pine were a work of art. The teens, younger kids, and toddler were in their glory. There was never even a whisper of “I’m bored” The yard was huge! Big enough to practice short iron golf shots! We set up many yard games and Olympics with 5 separate venues and never had to move any of the things we used. We kept them up all week so they could be used. Daily bike rides and runs were challenging but so beautiful. Justin Lake State Park is 1 mile down the road and has a trail system that goes 3 1/2 miles around Justin Lake. I could go on and on. 5 star week. Thank you Patty and Fred.
