Recent Hoodsport vacation rental reviews

We had a wonderful time during our return visit to this property - we liked it so much we came back again! The location is amazing. The home is located right on Lake Cushman with views of the lake from the deck as well as private lake access for swimming and kayaking. Since we last visited, there is now a large lakeside deck which is perfect for setting up chairs/towels/snacks closer to the lake for activities. There is also a new floating dock for swimming, which we are excited to try out next summer. The home itself has a modernized 1970s cabin vibe. One side of the living room has a wood stove with recliners and vintage Nintendo, while the other side has a large couch with smart TV and fiber internet. It was so nice to be in nature but not have to sacrifice fast internet or catching up on our shows. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the cooking supplies we needed and even a good selection of spices and baking supplies. The large dining table was great for meals as well as great space for doing puzzles/games and there were many ones to choose from. All three bedrooms had comfortable beds and USB plugs for our devices. Specifically, the bunk room was a huge hit with the kids. The modern thermostat with both heat and AC provided comfortable sleeping temperatures and the air purifiers in each room were a really nice touch. The main bath has a large shower including a rain shower head and wand. Really had all the things that you need for a comfortable stay, including plenty of towels. One of our favorite parts of the house is the outdoor covered living space which is off the kitchen. We loved being able to BBQ and then eat dinner out there on warm nights and then sit by the fire table and have s'mores. This trip the weather was cooler, but we were still able to hang out all evening under the outdoor heater. In terms of nearby activities, we enjoyed walking to the division 1 park, hiked up in the Olympic national park, and explored the shops in downtown Hoodsport. We cooked at the house mostly, so having a grocery store 15 min away was a huge perk. But it was also nice to have a few restaurant options close and the fried chicken at the Model T is now a family favorite. Will definitely go again!

The home is beautiful and the setting is gorgeous. The views are stunning from the multiple and multi-tiered decks. The home is comfortable and well-appointed. The community amenities were an added bonus - lakeside volleyball, basketball, picnic tables, dock and playground.

We enjoyed the wild visitors we had at this cabin. We were visited by a harbor seal, otters, and lots of different birds. We had fog a few of the mornings we were there but the view is still amazing.
