Recent Eagle River vacation rental reviews

We wanted to rent a house with panoramic views of the forest and lake in winter, and this house exceeded our expectations. It’s incredibly cozy, with a homely atmosphere, breathtaking views, and seamless check-in and check-out. It has everything you could possibly need: a fireplace, a barbecue, and a campfire area This is the perfect house for relaxation, both in winter and likely in summer as well. Highly recommended!

Nice rental, kids had room to play inside and outside. Made a couple snowmen

We had a an excellent, comfortable family stay at the Lonesome Moose Lodge. Our extended family of eight and two pets enjoyed the warmth and expansive family room. The well equipped kitchen allowed for easy meal preparation. The lodge was very clean and well decorated. The town of Eagle River was a short easy drive away. Lovely place to spend time in the winter. Highly recommend.

Where is Eagle River?

Eagle River may be a tiny town, but its reputation as a great place to retire and vacation has put it on the map. It sits on a chain of 28 lakes, the world’s largest freshwater lake chain. Lake Superior is an easy day trip of about 70 miles away, but with 28 lakes readily available, you may not feel the need to leave town once you’re here at your cabin rental.

Things to Do in Eagle River

Known as the Snowmobiling Capital of the World, Eagle River excels in winter sports. Rent a snowmobile, snowshoes, skis, or ice fishing equipment---there’s no wrong way to enjoy the snow. If you’re visiting in the summer, explore the area’s many hiking trails, perhaps with your dog in tow if you’re staying in one of our pet-friendly rentals. Fall visitors should prepare to be awed by the brilliant foliage in Eagle River. Sample the area’s local cranberries, probably gathered at a nearby farm. There’s so much magic to be experienced in Eagle River!
