We loved the place, everything but the Wi-Fi was great!

The log cabin was in an ideal location... probably the closest to Wolf Creek resort. It's about a 10 minute drive in good weather. While we had blue bird days most of our visit, crossing the mountain can get tricky in a storm. In speaking with the locals, the mountain pass rarely closes. When it does, it's not long since US 160 is a major thoroughfare. The cabin is well maintained and clean. Overall, the amenities worked out well for a family of 5 adults... another sofa or a couple more chairs in the family room would be a great addition. It sits right next to the river. Unfortunately, it was frozen and snow covered 🥶 I hope the house is still available for rent the next time we visit Wolf Creek.

The place worked out nicely for its location to Wolf Creek Ski area and the ability to bring our dogs with us and some friends. I felt it was lacking in a few kitchen necessities that I mentioned to the owner in a private message so hopefully they will add them for the future renters. We did enjoy the decks getting shoveled for us after 16 inches of snow we got our first day. We would consider renting the place again if we come back to ski the area.
