Where is The Palms?

Scenically situated on the north end of Jacó Beach in the coastal province of Puntarenas, The Palms is a wonderful getaway for beach-goers, surfers, and nature enthusiasts. You'll be only 20 miles south of Carara National Park, 51 miles north of Manuel Antonio National Park, and 54 miles from Juan Santamaria International Airport in San José - which is easily reached by car or private shuttle.

Things to do at The Palms

With a beautiful gated property and two outdoor swimming pools that overlook the beach, our vacation homes at The Palms are a destination within themselves. But you'll also find an abundance of entertainment just outside your door.

Make arrangements for a sailing or kayaking tour, or spend a day sportfishing on a private charter boat. You might head into the rainforest to ride a zip line through the canopy for an extra thrill. Swim in the calm waters of nearby Herradura Beach six miles north, or pack your surfboard and head to Hermosa Beach, a former host of International Quicksilver Championships and World Surfing Games, just seven miles south.

Take a leisurely drive to Carara National Park, where crocodiles swim beneath the Tárcoles River Bridge or head down south to Manuel Antonio National Park to find white sand beaches, plentiful bird life, and resident mammals that include howler monkeys and three-toed sloths.

Unwind each evening back in Jacó, with fish tacos at Tacobar and cocktails with a view at El Hicaco. Our vacation rentals at The Palms are also right next door to Croc's Casino Resort - a sophisticated Las Vegas-style space with restaurants, bars, and the occasional holiday fireworks display over the beach.
