Recent Playacar vacation rental reviews

We had an incredible time staying at Casa Kibaloma - the pictures don't do it justice. The house is very spacious with a great outdoor space. The pool is big and the house sits directly on the beachfront. The beach in front is popular but it never felt like it was too busy. The sand is soft and the water is clear. There is quite a bit of seaweed but it gets cleaned up every morning. The kitchen is quite minimal in regards to appliances and cooking ware but it was enough to get by. I have seen other reviews complaining about hot water, internet, TV, etc but we didn't have any issues. All of these worked fine for us! The hot water just take a bit of time to come through, as is the case with most properties in Mexico. The town of playa del carmen is within walking distance either along the beachfront or through the neigborhood. We had kids with us and we were able to walk there within 15-20 mins. Grocery stores are all within a 5-10 min cab ride away. The property manager was always readily available for any questions we had regarding the house. Overall we had a great time staying at this house - would highly recommend to others!

Where is Playacar?

Playacar holds its own amidst the state of Quintana Roo's world-famous vacation destinations. Two areas compose Playacar: Phase One, a mostly residential section; and Phase Two, home to several resorts, a golf course, and other tourist attractions. Bustling Playa Del Carmen's beaches and nightlife are just north up the coast.
